A Path to Better Health

September 9, 2020

When the season changes, summer wanes, the sun-drenched days become shorter, and suddenly I feel the need for a sweater when I take the dog for her afternoon walk. To beat the lines about to form at the pharmacy, I took it upon myself to walk the dog towards my local CVS Pharmacy store and get a flu shot. Before I left the house, I ordered a few items from the CVS app to pick up when I arrived.

I used this CVS savings coupon and got $10 in CVS ExtraBucks^.

With COVID-19 to worry about on top of the flu, I felt better knowing that I took action sooner than later to avoid getting sick when flu season is official and comes in swinging. It was an excellent time to stock up on cold medicine and pain supplies as well. Having a substantial arsenal of over-the-counter medications, just in case, means I won't have to travel outside in the event someone in my family - knock wood - does get sick.

And because CVS offers great ExtraBucks incentives and BOGO offers, I make sure to use CVS coupon codes to save on all my over-the-counter pain and cold medications. Find the CVS weekly ad online, clip a digital coupon, and log in to CVS.com to find significant savings on all your health, beauty, household, back-to-school, gift cards, seasonal offerings, and candy and baby products. You can even score free shipping with minimum purchases.

If you're more of a visit and shop a CVS store for savings, but the pandemic has you in the stay home mood, no worries. Use the CVS Express app on your phone. Order all you non-prescription needs, and pick up your items curbside when you arrive at the store. If you have packages to deliver or pick up, CVS now offers limited UPS shipping services at select stores so you can get a jump on the holidays.

Check out these fantastic CVS savings as I did. Then, find a better path to health with CVS.

CVS Minute Clinic

Like many of us, I, too, am bombarded daily with so much news about COVID-19. It can leave me feeling perplexed. While statistics fluctuate and debates rage on, I have taken comfort in participating in the simple behaviors to keep myself safe. I continually wash my hands, wear a mask in public, and participate in social distancing at a good six feet when I can.

Order hand sanitizer and other everyday essentials from CVS.com with a CVS digital coupon, you can get 2-day shipping for free!

But, then there are other questions that I haven't addressed regarding COVID-19. I've been so good about staying safe and staying home and hadn't thought about the "What If?" So, I made a list of my questions and did some online research.

  1. Where can I get tested?
  2. What type of test will the clinic or physician perform?
  3. How much does a COVID-19 test cost?
  4. Does my insurance cover the cost of a COVID-19 test?
  5. When will I get my COVID-19 test results

I found answers to my questions when I discovered the CVS Minute Clinic. I navigated to the COVID-19 testing section and clicked on the tile. At the next screen, I entered my zip code to find a location near my home to get a COVID-19 test

The CVS Minute Clinic* can find more than 1,800 COVID-19 testing locations. Tests are $0 out-of-pocket with most insurance, and federal programs are available for the uninsured.
